3 months and counting

It has been 6 years since my last blog and I am ready and raring to start... it is a past time I truly enjoy. To start the blog I have just purchased a shiny new lap top and named him sunshine. I have also planned the ultimate round the world the trip to write about. But this trip will be different to any other covered in my blogs and different to any other I have taken as I am packing the best thing ever... none other than my gorgeous, kind and wonderful husband Patrick. Together as newlyweds we are about to jet off on an adventure which will see us tick off lots of our bucket list. Talking of bucket lists- some of the things we hope to do on our trip are below. Take a hot air balloon ride Fish for Marlin/Deep sea fishing Take a helicopter ride Ski in Europe Drink Champagne in Champagne Wear a Panama hat in Panama Watch my husband in France wearing a stripey top and carrying a baguette. Visit Green Gables No doubt there will be many more things we will do and want to do... and the list above will morph and evolve as we do. We plan to leave Sydney in late July and travel to South Africa and visit some wineries and do a safari in Kruger national park. After this we will fly to Stockholm and visit my cousin Jack and his girlfriend Josefine. We will then catch a train to Cophenhagen and look at beautiful Scandnavian furniture before traveling to Germany to visit old friends Goetz and Linda and traveling to Greece and spending 2 months wandering around Italy and France. We will then fly to the USA and drive to Canada so we can see Green Gables before going coast to coast and driving across the old USA along route 66. Before we go- we have a list of things we need to do to get our house ready for renting ... with lots of niggley jobs and painting to be done, the next few months are going to whiz past. Strap yourselves in, I will aim to update this as go go! That's enough from me, its good to be back and I cant wait for the adventure to begin.
